Elena lived a life that had most boxes ticked on paper. Degree in finance, relocating to London in 2011, prestigious job in the city. Yet for Elena it was a rather discontented experience, filled with a sense of missed purpose and unfulfilled promise, like wandering through a beautiful garden, full of colours, blooms, scents, and wearing a face mask.

Initially being drawn to the art and aesthetics of movement and physical well-being, Elena spent years training in strength, resistance, dance, aerial acrobatics (including National Centre for circus arts in London - just for fun). Discovering yoga was a surprise, and felt like injecting watercolour into a black & white picture. The magical sense of balance turned irresistible - not just the body but the mind too felt stronger and grew more spacious, and goodness, lightness and joy trickled softly in and teased the beingness.

In 2016 Elena took a leap of faith and quit the glossy world of finance, embarking on a journey of self-discovery through yoga, the infinite kaleidoscope of life’s blessings and mysteries.

Since then Elena has become passionate about sharing what she has learned and loves - helping people find joy in movement and appreciate the physical body, connect to the psycho-emotional aspects, subtle body being intertwined with the tangible. Encouraging students not to take yoga or life too seriously, Elena teaches playful breath-linked sequences and more mellow passive yin. Elena holds RYT 450, trained in London and India, with insatiable thirst for more discovery.
